today was the finale of the AFF Suzuki Cup and it was held in the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta. as seen on tv the stadium was certainly filled with their supporters with red all over. ive heard that our players had to go in by armoured vehicles as they fear for the hostile reception of the other fans. wow that is whack! anyways, as soon as the game started, twitter was fizzed non-stop with the happenings of the game, but what irritated me the most was that the cameraman was zooming on the hot ceweks only. hey a fan of football here, NOT the ladies! cehh.
the game started a bit slow at first but then when safee scored the first goal, it was like a sense of euphoria seeped in haha. anyhow khairul fahmi the goalie was really awesome coz he managed to cover the attacks from the other side pretty well most of the time! i was aiming at him since the first game but then of course safee had my attention back then coz he was scoring. however, fahmi really nailed it on this game.
why? coz he managed to be the trending topic worldwide in Twitter! a malaysian footballer trending on twitter? wow. and towards the end of the game, people (especially girls) were clicking non-stop to like his fan page and what contributed to his level of awesomeness was that the indon fans in Twitter were updating their statutes which included Fahmi, saying like "Culik si Fahmi yuk, iket, karungin." and "hebat beneran kiper fahmi". and anyways, they contributed to Fahmi being trending worldwide haha. and within a few moments, the girlfriend's blog of Fahmi is being stalked worldwide (including me) and i bet she has hits bigger than the president himself! :p
ive read some of her entries and yeah they kinda amazed me a bit. i was lost in the stories especially those of "how they met" thingy. Elia... even though i really do admire your boyfie, i kinda thought you guys are a sweet couple though haha.
Elia! cmon and hurry up the writing of your Fifth Part! :p
ouh and not to forget safee sali got the best scorer award (not a surprise coz he scored 5 goals altogether). he really was our saviour. thank you safee sali for making the Malayan Tigers and Malaysia proud! :)
